If you would like to find out more about the wines you enjoy drinking in a friendly, informal, but educational way –
this could be the course for you.
Covering all the main grape-growing regions of the world, you will find out how to taste and assess wines,
learn about the origins of many different grape varieties, plus practical help on food and wine matching,
storing wine and knowing which wines are most likely to offer good value for money.
Rachel Gibson, owner of local wine retailer, Wine Utopia, has over twelve years’ experience in the wine trade,
and is qualified with the Wine & Spirits Education Trust Diploma.
She has taught wine courses for six of those years and is hugely passionate about educating
both wine-loving novices and anyone who is keen to join the industry.

Inspired by his recent tour of Rioja, our very own front- of- house maestro, Iain Longhorn, has persuaded Senora Trinidad Villegas, from Bodegas Lan Winery to host an evening at The Chesil Rectory alongside Jason Busby of H&H BANCROFT, one of London’s leading wine merchants.
